  • Falcon 900B on Display at Duncan Aviation/Universal Avionics’ NBAA Static Booth Highlights Updated Cockpit and Interior

    Duncan Aviation and Universal Avionics are pleased to announce that operators interested in seeing a Falcon 900B with the first EFI-890R cockpit retrofit upgrade can walk through the aircraft at the static display during the Convention and Exhibition of the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA). The aircraft will be on static display at Henderson Executive Airport in Las Vegas from October 22-24 and will also showcase a newly designed interior, new paint and new cabin/management/entertainment system; all completed by Duncan Aviation. Representatives from Duncan Aviation and Universal Avionics will be on hand to answer questions and give tours of this beautifully transformed aircraft.

  • Duncan Aviation’s Lincoln Expansion Work to Accommodate Larger Aircraft in 2014

    Duncan Aviation will have a new hangar ready for additional aircraft work in the first quarter of 2014 and, by June 2014, the company will complete the largest expansion project its Lincoln, Neb., campus has ever seen. The 175,000-square-foot facility, comprised of two 40,000-square-foot maintenance hangars and a 95,000-square-foot office and shop space, will then be completed and ready for use.

  • Duncan Aviation Expands Aircraft Accessories and Landing Gear Services

    Duncan Aviation more than doubled its accessory shop space at its Lincoln, Neb., location, with the refurbishment and expansion of its service area, gaining approximately 6,300 square feet, doubling bench space and adding new tooling and expanded in-house capabilities, including a Skydrol hydraulic test bench, overhead crane and a new paint booth with curing room.

    Duncan Aviation has installed and certified Wi-Fi on a fleet of three CitationJet CJ2+ aircraft, earning the 525A Supplemental Type Certificate (STC). This STC adds CitationJet CJ2, CJ2+ and CJ3 aircraft to a long list of Duncan Aviation STCs for aircraft internet systems. With completed installations nearing 400 aircraft, Duncan Aviation holds a prominent position as leader of the aftermarket installation of in-flight internet and Wi-Fi upgrades such as Aircell Gogo Biz and SwiftBroadband systems.
