Timeline of Next Generation Mandates Available at Duncan Aviation NBAA Booth #208

LINCOLN, NEB. — In the fall 2014 issue of the Duncan Debrief magazine, Duncan Aviation features a timeline of the NextGen mandates. Owners and operators who would like to see at-a-glance which deadlines are looming with regard to the various components of the NextGen mandates (FANS/FANS 1/A, ATN-B1/CPDLC, TCAS II 7.1 and ICAO) can open to the “Dates You Need To Know” article on page 14, which is the center spread in the issue. Dates and components are color coded for easy identification.

There is also a Cost/Benefit Analysis (page 17) that spells out the many safety advantages operators will  experience by upgrading their avionics equipment to meet these mandates.

For questions regarding system compatibility, call or email Steve Elofson or Justin Vena. Once operators have decided on an upgrade that meets their needs, they can use the handy tear-out sheet that lists Duncan Aviation’s Avionics Satellites (page 18) to find a Duncan Aviation facility near them. The directory provides locations, names, and contact information for all 16 of the facilities in the Duncan Aviation Avionics satellite network.
