Over a year ago, Universal Avionics announced (Service Letter No. 2875, dated September 19, 2017) they were going to discontinue repair support for the LCD display in the UNS-1 Csp and UNS-1 Csp+ due to obsolete parts. This came into effect on January 1, 2018.
Units impacted by this change are UNS-1 Csp, Part Number 1019-XX-XXX and UNS-1 Csp+, P/N 10192-XX-XXX.
These units can be replaced by calling any of the three Duncan Aviation MRO facilities or more than 27 Satellite Avionics locations.
