5G Wireless Interference. What You Need To Know

This month, two major cell phone companies are scheduled to launch a new 5G C-Band wireless communications spectrum. At issue are concerns the 5G transmissions are a significant risk of interfering with radio altimeters on aircraft during critical flight operations in adverse weather conditions

Government agencies, industry associations, and equipment manufacturers have issued many articles and documents regarding these concerns. We encourage you to stay informed and provide links to relevant documents.  

The FAA (Federal Aviation Administration)

The FAA has adopted two ADs, or Airworthiness Directives determining:
