There is a new Chapter 5 requirement for the Astra/SPX/G-100 to overhaul the horizontal stabilizer trim actuator at 10 years. If you’re actuator is already 10 years old or older, you have 24-months from the date of the Revision to comply.
Astra
Revision 19 Dated June 15, 2010
SPX/G-100
Revision 13 Dated June 30, 2010
Both models use CMP code 274004
In spite of what the Maintenance Manual states, if your aircraft is APU equipped, the APU will have to be removed to allow access to the lower actuator attach bolts.
