Honeywell’s Multipurpose Control and Display Units, MCDU-1 and MCDU-2, are no longer covered by Standard or Extended MSP-Avionics and are facing impending component obsolescence as OEM support nears its end.

At Duncan Aviation, we recommend operators upgrade to the MCDU-R. All orders placed by the end of 2025 with MCDU-1/-2 cores returned to Honeywell will receive special pricing and Standard MSP coverage on upgraded MCDU-R units. The core MCDU-1 or MCDU-2 unit must be returned within 20 business days after the installation is finished to receive this discounted price and avoid being billed an additional $25K per unit.
