If you operate a Hawker 750, 800XP, 850XP or 900XP, please take note. Hawker Beechcraft Corporation recently released Mandatory Service Bulletin (MSB) 24-3968 titled Electrical Power-Introduction of In-Line Fuses. The MSB is applicable to the Hawker 750, serials HB-1 through HB-33; Hawker 800XP/850XP, serials 258541, 258556 and 258567 through 258982; and the Hawker 900XP, serials HA-0001 through HA-0099.
A Communiqué has also been published advising owners, operators and maintenance personnel of an airplane configuration that is currently not depicted in the original issue of MSB 24-3968. On airplanes that use a Standby Inverter System, there is a different Alternating Current (AC) bus referenced (designated XE-3), which is not illustrated in Figure 1 of the MSB. Hawker 800XP/850XP, serials 258541, 258556 and 258567 through 258759 are airplanes that have a Standby Inverter System. Serials 258760 through 258982 do not have a Standby Inverter System.
Hawker Beechcraft is advising owners and operators of airplanes that use a Standby Inverter System to delay compliance with the original issue of MSB 24-3968 until a Revision 1 to the MSB is released.
Owners and operators of the Hawker Model 750 and 900XP and the Hawker Model 800XP/850XP, serials 258760 through 258982, must comply with the original issue of MSB 24-3968.
