LINCOLN, NEB — Duncan Aviation is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Fidler as its new Accessories Business Development Manager. In this position, he will strengthen and drive accessory component repair services toward new business opportunities with customers and OEMs, including new service and product capabilities.
Fidler earned a bachelor’s degree in professional piloting from Kansas State University and an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Kansas. His aviation career began as a pilot and certified flight instructor for Kansas State University before he accepted a position with Mid-Continent Instruments & Avionics, where he held roles in customer service, sales, and was the regional sales manager. Most recently, he was responsible for business development at Ametek MRO.
Fidler already has an established relationship with many of the major players in this industry, but now he’ll approach them with new ideas and thoughts. “I look forward to this new challenge,” says Fidler. “Duncan Aviation is a top-shelf operation. I’m excited to be a part of it. My goal is to make sure the Duncan Aviation Accessory shops are full with the right kinds of business while evolving to the next generation of equipment and technology.”
Mark Cote, Vice President of Duncan Aviation Parts Sales, Avionics, Accessories & Satellites, is excited about the potential that Fidler brings to Duncan Aviation. “Tim brings with him years of engine accessory and avionics component experience. He has a wealth of aviation knowledge and strong industry relationships that will serve him and Duncan Aviation well in this new role.”
Fidler and his wife, Erica, live in Wichita, Kansas, and have two sons, Easton (8) and Beckham (2). As a family, they enjoy sports, music, and spend most of their free time with family activities.
