LINCOLN, NEB — Duncan Aviation is pleased to welcome Brent Hudecek to the Avionics Sales team at the company’s facility in Lincoln, Nebraska. Originally from Saginaw, Michigan, Hudecek arrived in Lincoln via Dallas, Texas, where he worked as an internal avionics sales rep for an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the last 18 years.
“Brent brings years of avionics experience and knowledge for not only Gulfstream aircraft but also many other aircraft makes/models," says Modifications Sales Manager Nate Klenke. "He's a great addition to the Avionics Sales team, and we're confident he'll enhance the resources and quality of services offered to Duncan Aviation's customers."
To launch his career in aviation, Hudecek attended Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan, where he earned an Associates of Applied Science in Avionics Technology.
After graduating, he worked for 10 years for a small Fixed-Base Operator (FBO) in Lapeer, Michigan, that serviced primarily small piston aircraft. During that time, he earned his pilot’s license with a single-engine, high-performance rating, so in addition to installing and repairing avionics, Hudecek test flew the aircraft for the company.
“Having worked on avionics in the business aviation industry for the last 30 years, I have a lot of rounded experience on business jets as well as piston engine aircraft, and I have more than 20 years of direct experience selling avionics equipment,” says Hudecek. “Duncan Aviation feels like a good fit, and I’m looking forward to establishing new relationships with customers in the industry with whom I’ve worked over the years.”
Hudecek and his wife Cristi have three children: Michael, Caitlin, and Joshua. In their spare time, they enjoy kayaking, snow skiing, and visiting national parks. As Hudecek and his wife settle into their new home in Nebraska, he’s hoping to kayak on a local lake or two before the winter freeze takes hold.
