    Duncan Aviation’s parts consignment program expanded drastically in 2012. The sales team sold nearly $1.07 million in consignment parts and rotables to Fixed-Base Operators (FBO) as well as flight departments and increased the total number of consigners by nearly 30 percent.

    Duncan Aviation’s parts and rotables team spent a large part of 2012 amping up its inventory to make sure the sales team always has what customers need, when they need it. Those efforts have grown the company’s rotable and component inventory by $4.2 million.

    Duncan Aviation has installed nearly 300 aircraft broadband internet systems with in-flight Wi-Fi in the last three years, and plans to continue on that installation pace for an additional 150 to 200 additional systems in the next 24 months. With a total of nearly 500 installations in just five years, Duncan Aviation is the clear leader in the aftermarket installation of broadband upgrades such as Aircell Gogo Biz and Swiftbroadband systems.

  • Duncan Aviation and Flightcraft Partner to Provide Avionics Services at Portland, Ore.

    Duncan Aviation is pleased to partner with Flightcraft in the opening of a new satellite avionics shop in Portland, Ore. The new Duncan Aviation avionics shop in Portland will open later this fall and will be located on the Portland International Airport at 7777 NE Airport Way. It will be staffed with fully certified technicians and have full avionics line services and avionics installations capabilities.

  • Duncan Aviation Names Richard Gardner Regional Manager Supporting Australia and New Zealand

    Duncan Aviation has named Richard Gardner as Regional Manager in Australia and New Zealand. In this role, Gardner will travel the region interfacing with aircraft operators, management organizations and other service providers with the goal of maintaining and building relationships, providing customer service, educating operators and learning more about the regulatory issues within the region.

  • Gary Harpster to Participate in Avionics Forum at NBAA 2012

    Gary Harpster, Avionics Installations Sales Rep with Duncan Aviation, will participate in an avionics forum, called “Modern Office in the Sky: Radar to a Road Map,” during the 65th Annual National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Meeting and Convention. Harpster will sit alongside other industry experts as they discuss High Speed Data, Cabin Management Systems, Voice Communications and other topics.
