We offer internships across 13+ departments at our three full-service MRO locations. Our communities were selected for their close-knit sense of belonging — similar to the family culture within Duncan Aviation itself.
We are Growing! Our Provo, Utah location is getting a face lift with a brand new 43,000 sq ft maintenance hangar and 53,000 sq ft paint hangar.
Paint, test, adjust, troubleshoot, repair and overhaul aircraft accessory components according to technical publications.
Assist with testing, adjusting, and repairing airframe systems and components on a variety of airframes.
Test, troubleshoot, repair and overhaul aircraft components in a clean work environment per technical publications.
Work with engines and engine components on a variety of engine makes. Assist with testing, adjusting, and repairing.
Support the Engineering department on a variety of projects. Prepare engineering data and support aircraft technical reviews.
Perform administrative functions for the facility operations team while learning facility management best practices.
Work on strategic projects, support HR operations, and learn from experienced HR professionals. (Limited to one year per InternNE Program guidelines.)
Learn and gain competency in Finish, Cabinet, Interior Completions, Upholstery, or Sewing according to customer specifications.
Perform installation, troubleshooting and repair of aircraft wiring and avionics systems using hand tools and test equipment.
Help with writing, social media, content generation and strategic projects. Full-time summer, part-time during school semesters.
Perform administrative functions for the Material Services team while learning supply chain and inventory management.
Work on strategic projects supporting learning, development, safety, and aviation training.
Support Parts and Rotables Sales or Component Services. Contact prospects, update CRM, and perform data analysis.

Yes! A $2,000 summer housing stipend is available for qualifying interns to help offset the cost of relocating for the summer.
Duncan Aviation awards two $1,000 scholarships to interns who successfully complete the program. These are open to all eligible interns regardless of department.
Absolutely. Full-time employment opportunities are regularly offered to interns in good standing at the end of their program. Many current team members started as interns.

No. Most technical internships are designed for students pursuing their A&P certification or a related aviation degree. You'll work alongside licensed technicians as part of your hands-on training.
Most internships are full-time over the summer. Marketing internships can also continue part-time during the school semester. Schedules are designed to be flexible and accommodate academic commitments.
