Duncan Aviation’s Avionics Component Repair & Overhaul shop has added test sets and tooling to obtain full capabilities to perform Honeywell SB (Service Bulletin) 7011672-34-0100. This SB adds moisture barrier protection to the SG-705 symbol generator and subassemblies and converts the following part numbers.

The SG-705 symbol generators are a critical part of the avionics system. They receive heading, attitude, and short- and long-range navigation sensor and weather radar inputs. They also receive mode logic inputs from the flight guidance computer. All inputs are processed and transmitted to the electronic displays as well as the autopilot.
