Duncan Aviation Embraer techs are seeing a number of Legacy aircraft arrive with pitting along the leading edge of the wings, horizontal, and engine air intake lip.
While it is costly to have these areas polished on a regular basis, it is considerably more costly to let them go for an extended period time.
The experts recommend polishing these areas at least every 4-6 months, and more frequently if the aircraft spends a lot of time in a harsh environment.
