At Duncan Aviation, we have been fielding questions about the new Evolved Maintenance Program (EMP) for the Learjet 40* and Learjet 45* aircraft. Because there has been so much information published by Bombardier* in regards to this program, for your convenience I have gathered a list of documents available on the Bombardier CIC website you can review.
Bombardier has released AW005-001 and a cover letter from Andy Nureddin, Vice President of Bombardier Customer Services & Support, Business Aircraft that introduces the basics of the EMP, including expected savings and technical information.
To transition to the new program and acquire the relevant Service Bulletin (SB) SB40-05-01 or SB45-05-01 and bridging document, you are required to fill out and submit the Learjet 40 / Learjet 45 Evolved Maintenance Program Request Form. This form will provide the following information which is required to bridge your aircraft: Customer Information; Aircraft Information; Inspection Information; and Service Bulletin Compliance.
There is a lot of useful information on the Bombardier CIC website and I highly recommend that you take some time to log in, review these documents, and contact Bombardier Maintenance Engineering at Learjet_mpe@aero.bombardier.com or by phone at +1 316.946.7262.
