Pratt & Whitney issued Service Bulletin 30382 on July 22, 2009, that applies to PW535A engines, SN DC0357 and earlier on the Citation Encore and PW535B engines, SN DE0131 and earlier on the Citation Encore Plus. This SB introduces a seal between the turbine exhaust case and the turbine exhaust mixer assembly to keep hot exhaust gases from sensitive areas. To increase and aid in the evacuation process, inner bypass duct ventilation holes and a new tail cone are also introduced. The package also includes new seals in the service fairing to bypass duct interface.
The recommended compliance time for SB 30382 is within the next 150 flight hours or six months, whichever occurs first. On July 23, 2009, Commercial Support Program Notification #1004609 was released to provide parts and labor support for the SB.
