Duncan Aviation designers can cut through the clutter, visualize how operators actually use their aircraft, and incorporate the features and materials in their design that work best with the operator’s lifestyle and preferences. These unique and innovative customer solutions can include details as intricate as cabinet latches and storage or as encompassing as hydrographic finishes and unique, custom-designed drinkrails.
Obsession usually isn’t very attractive, unless you’re referring to the attention to detail that Duncan Aviation’s designers have for the nuances of every aircraft interior project they oversee. From custom designed carpet to double-stitched leather seats, and intricate table inlays to upwash and downwash lighting accents, attention to the details creates an overall luxurious feel that is experienced the minute you enter a cabin completed by Duncan Aviation.
Updating an aircraft at Duncan Aviation results in amazing transformations. Little things like removing individual seat monitors, replacing worn carpeting, and reupholstering seats can freshen an interior while complete interior refurbishments provide the ultimate in customization and personal expression.
Jack graduated from Cedarville University with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design and joined Duncan’s Battle Creek Design team in 2019. Prior to starting at Duncan, he worked in the hospitality industry, creating floorplans and furniture packages for hotels.
Jack’s most memorable project to date is a black Citation X. The owner wanted a bold interior, with black leather seats and red accents to match their company branding. "The customer was excellent to work with. I loved being able to explore different options and see how far we could push the design. The final result was spectacular!"
Carie graduated from the University of Nebraska, Kearney with a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design.Prior to joining the design team at Duncan Aviation, Carie worked as a lead sales/designer for a local Lincoln company specializing in both the remodeling and new construction of residential kitchens and bathrooms.
What Carie enjoys the most about aviation design are the tasks designers are presented with that are different than what was involved with residential design.
"In the field of aviation design, we are able to provide luxurious material options to our customers while making sure that these materials pass specific burn and weight requirements", says Carie. "I'm very fortunate to work with extremely talented, top-notch professionals in this industry that have taught me a lot about the aviation profession. The knowledge and craftsmanship here at Duncan Aviation is why customers seek us out and continue to come back."
Molly joined Duncan Aviation’s newest full-service facility in Provo, Utah, in 2019 after working for several years at a completion facility in Dallas, Texas. She began obtaining her Bachelors in Fine Arts in Interior Design degree at the University of Oklahoma then completed her degree at The Art Institute.
Now that Duncan's Provo location has the capabilities for large scale completion projects, Molly has been experimenting and looking for new innovative ways to give the customer an aircraft that truly matches their vision. "I am especially fond of a Global that we just recently completed" says Molly. "We were going for a very neutral tone on tone interior and we decided to give our teams a little challenge and veneer the lower sidewalls throughout the aircraft. The end product turned out amazing and it has been one of my favorite projects to date."

Mary graduated from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln with a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design. Before beginning her career in aviation Mary held a senior interior design position, designing both commercial and residential spaces. Currently she leads the Design Teams at our Lincoln, Nebraska, and Provo, Utah, locations.
Mary feels fortunate to have worked with clients on a variety of exclusive aircraft interior projects. Connecting with our clients and understanding their styles is key as she develops highly personalized unique spaces.
These relationships help her customize design solutions so that every completion she’s been a part of reflects the individual aesthetic of each owner. For instance, one of her customers wanted blue carbon-fiber and other non-standard finishes in his Global Express.
“It was such a striking interior because it conveyed the personal tastes of the owner, and the modifications showcased the talents of the Duncan Aviation teams,” says Mary.
The owner was overjoyed when he saw his completed project, and that is always Mary’s greatest satisfaction.
