Amie Jensen, Associate Designer
Amie is working towards her Associate's Degree in Interior Design from the Academy of Art University. She started working at Duncan Aviation in Provo, Utah as a Finish/Cabinet Assistant in February of 2020. 2 years later she became a Design Assistant, and is currently an Associate Designer II.
Amie’s career in design began a little differently than most aviation designers. “I didn't know I wanted to be an aviation designer until I started working for Duncan. Aviation Before that, I was seriously considering a career as a general contractor. But this opportunity came my way, and once I stepped into the world of aviation design, I knew it was the right fit. The challenge of balancing aesthetics with functionality motivates me, and seeing the final result come together beautifully is incredibly rewarding.”
To date, Amie’s favorite project has been a Cessna 560XL, featuring a geometric carpet pattern in shades of grey that beautifully ties the 2-tone seats together with a subtle texture.
