LINCOLN, NEB. — Duncan Aviation is pleased to announce the appointment of Sasha Orth to the position of Landing Gear Sales Representative. In her new role, Orth works directly with aircraft operators to identify landing gear inspection and repair needs, prepare quotes, and collaborate closely with the airframe service sales team to schedule work. Her combined sales and scheduling responsibilities give customers a knowledgeable point of contact who can help coordinate landing gear requirements with other planned aircraft maintenance.
Orth joined Duncan Aviation in December 2024 as the Accessory Scheduler, managing backshop scheduling across landing gear, hydraulics, ELM, and battery services. In her expanded role, she continues to oversee scheduling for the Accessories Department in Lincoln, Neb.
Before Duncan Aviation, she worked for four years as a scheduler for Nebraska Hematology and Oncology in Lincoln, Neb. Her professional background also includes working within the Colorado school system in Sterling, Colo., after graduating from Central Community College in Grand Island, Neb., with an Associate of Science degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. Following a move back to Lincoln, she provided Occupational Therapy care to patients across multiple hospital units, including cardiac, orthopedics, and burn unit, for CHI Health.
Orth looks forward to taking on new challenges and collaborating directly with operators.
“I welcome the growth opportunities and the unknown,” said Orth. “I like a challenge that helps me learn and grow, and I am looking forward to working with customers to understand their needs and how we at Duncan Aviation can best support them. Duncan Aviation has a strong, highly experienced landing gear team, and I am proud to represent them and their work.”
Tony Curtis, Manager of Component Repair Services and Parts & Rotables Sales, highlighted the experience and communication strengths Orth brings to the position.
“Sasha brings valuable experience supporting landing gear and accessory scheduling,” said Curtis. “Through that work, she has developed strong relationships with both the Landing Gear team and our Sales teams, along with a solid understanding of the work, challenges, and customer expectations surrounding landing gear events. One of Sasha’s greatest strengths is her passion for customer service and clear communication. Her ability to connect technical and scheduling details with customer needs will bring additional clarity and consistency to our landing gear proposals.”
Curtis added that Orth’s collaborative approach will play a key role in driving business forward: “Sasha is an outside-the-box thinker who enjoys exploring new ideas and finding better ways to approach challenges. She values brainstorming and actively seeks input from all stakeholders before moving ideas forward. That mindset, combined with her existing relationships across teams, will be a great asset as we continue to grow our landing gear business and improve the customer experience.”
Away from the office, Orth enjoys spending time with her husband, Cody Orth, Assistant Manager of Component Services at Duncan Aviation, and their two daughters, Izabella (13) and Addilyn (11). The family stays busy supporting their daughters’ travel softball games, tackling home improvement projects, gardening, and relaxing together on their back porch with their two dogs, Ruger and Remmington.
Operators planning upcoming landing gear inspections, repairs, or overhaul events can contact Sasha Orth at 402.470.4660 or Sasha.Orth@DuncanAviation.com to discuss workscope, quoting, and scheduling.
