LINCOLN, NEB — Duncan Aviation is pleased to announce that Dave Thompson has accepted the position as team leader for the first dedicated Falcon team at the company’s facility in Provo, Utah. The Provo facility is in the midst of major expansion and will open a paint facility and new maintenance hangar by the end of 2018 with another maintenance hangar and many new backshops completed by January 2020.
Thompson will lead efforts to build the team and gather the necessary tooling and ground-support equipment over the next several months to make sure the team is set for all models and workscopes in the Falcon product line. In October 2018, he and his family will relocate to the facility in Provo where he’ll continue his 24-year career with Duncan Aviation.
“Dave has a vast amount of Falcon knowledge and years of experience with models of the airframe. Fellow team members and Falcon customers alike respect and trust him,” says Vice President of Operations Chad Doehring. “We’ll also rely on Dave and his many years with the company to continue to strengthen the Duncan Aviation culture within new team members as they join us on the Provo team.”
Thompson and his wife Amy have been married for 29 years and have two sons, Andy 21 and Max 19. When not working on Falcons, you’ll find him building, riding and restoring antique motorcycles or fishing.
