LINCOLN, NEB. — Duncan Aviation is pleased to announce that Ann Pollard, a member of the company’s Aircraft Sales and Acquisitions team, recently earned recognition as a Certified Aircraft Sales Broker from the International Aircraft Dealers Association (IADA). Currently, there are fewer than 175 IADA-Certified Aircraft Sales Brokers around the globe.

IADA Certified Brokers have to pass a rigorous test and are verified by an independent firm. In addition, Accredited Dealers must engage in continuing education to pass a recertification process, ensuring that IADA dealers possess the most relevant industry knowledge and maintain their adherence to the IADA Code of Ethics.

According to IADA, “Although just 17% of the world’s aircraft dealers have earned IADA accreditation, they are responsible for 50% of the world's pre-owned sales. IADA Accredited Dealers buy and sell more aircraft by dollar volume than the rest of the world’s dealers combined; averaging over 700 transactions and $6 Billion in volume per year.”

Pollard said achieving IADA Broker Certification was an important goal for her.

“Duncan Aviation was a founding member of the original organization back in 1991, and I wanted to continue to uphold the high standards that our company helped to develop,” she said. “IADA-Certified Brokers and member service companies are committed to the highest level of ethics, experience, standards, and trust. That translates to successful transactions and happy clients.”

Pollard is a pilot and a skilled aviation professional with 35 years of industry experience. Before joining Duncan Aviation's Aircraft Sales & Acquisitions team, she held the positions of Vice President/Director of Sales & Acquisitions, Director of Charter and Managed Aircraft, Airport Manager, and FBO/Operations Manager at Shoreline Aviation in Massachusetts. She has extensive knowledge of complex aircraft transactions, aircraft management relationships, completion projects, inspections, and avionics/cabin upgrades.

She serves on the Board of the Massachusetts Business Aviation Association and previously served on the NATA Board of Directors, as well as on the boards of several other industry organizations. A detail-orientated facilitator with a big picture view, Pollard enjoys fostering long-term relationships and supporting clients throughout their entire ownership experience. She has been a part of hundreds of aircraft transactions, and has been involved with many aircraft through multiple ownership changes.

Pollard joins Duncan Aviation’s Aircraft Sales and Acquisitions team members Rene Cardona, Doug Roth, and Leah Alexander as IADA-Certified Aircraft Sales Brokers.
