LINCOLN, NEB — Duncan Aviation is pleased to announce that an 18-year-veteran of the company, Joshua H. Chischilly-Keyonnie, has accepted the position as Manager of its Scottsdale Satellite Avionics Shop in Arizona. Chischilly-Keyonnie is stepping in following long-time Manager Jim Davis’ retirement.

“As a team member at the Scottsdale Shop since 2001, Josh’s transition to manager will be a smooth one,” says Duncan Aviation’s Manager of Satellite Operations Matt Nelson. “Josh is capable of maintaining the positive environment at the shop as they continue to provide the high-quality service our customers expect from a Duncan Aviation facility.”

After joining the Scottsdale Satellite Shop as an Avionics Technician, Chischilly-Keyonnie transitioned to Crew Leader in 2016.

“In my 18 years at Duncan Aviation, I’ve been able to support our customers, and I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to be a part of business decisions and technical projects,” says Chischilly-Keyonnie. “I am sincerely looking forward to working with all of our customers, team members, team leaders and managers to achieve our shared goals as a company and provide the support business aircraft operators need.”

Chischilly-Keyonnie and his wife Laureen have been married for 15 years and have five grown children. They support local military and veteran’s organizations, and Josh supports his wife with care packages and by volunteering at local Gold Star Family events. In their free time together, they enjoy and appreciate spending time with their children and 10 grandchildren. They also find time for outdoor activities, social dances, movies and travel.

In the history of the Duncan Aviation Scottsdale Satellite Avionics Shop, Chischilly-Keyonnie will be only the second manager. Long-time Manager Jim Davis retired March 8, having spent 31 years of his career opening and growing the Scottsdale Shop.

“We were the first tenant in the building, which was the only building on that side of the airport at the time,” says Davis. “There were two of us who opened the shop, and now there are five full-time team members and one part-time. It was great to be a part of a company that treated employees and customers with such high standards. I’m grateful to have been a part of Duncan Aviation for the better part of my aviation career.”

Nelson says Davis is the consummate aviation professional and credits him with the growth and success of the Scottsdale Avionics Shop.

“I’ve known Jim for 31 years,” says Nelson, “and I’m going to miss him.”
