LINCOLN, NEB — Duncan Aviation is pleased to announce that Crew Leader Erwin Carrillo has been named the new Manager of the company’s Satellite in Atlanta, Georgia. Located at the Fulton County Executive Airport on the Brown Field, the Atlanta Satellite has been a part of Duncan Aviation’s network of 27 satellites around the country for 13 years.
From an early age, Carrillo loved electronics, and after studying it in middle and high school, he went to college and earned an Associate Degree in Avionics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering. Prior to moving to the United States, Carrillo worked on aircraft in the Venezuelan Air Force for 15 years.
In the nearly five years Carrillo has worked for Duncan Aviation, he’s been committed to the main goal of the Atlanta Satellite, keeping Duncan Aviation’s promise to its customers to provide an Experience Unlike Any Other.
“We understand that for the owners and operators in the region, our best assets are our team members and the skill and dedication they provide. Our promise combined with our technicians’ experience is what distinguishes Duncan Aviation,” said Carrillo. “Additionally, we’re working to increase our capabilities and add more team members who are willing and able to uphold Duncan Aviation’s core values.”
Carrillo and his wife Maribel have three children: Luis who is a Telecommunications Engineer in Peru; Daniela who is in college in Argentina studying Economics; and Manuel, who is a 19-year-old soccer player building his own path to play for the pros in the United States. Carrillo and his family love to travel and visit new places.
“We have only six states in this beautiful country left to visit,” said Carrillo. “I love sharing quality time with my family and friends, and I enjoy reading, hiking, performing CrossFit, and running.”
Matt Nelson, Duncan Aviation’s Manager of Satellite Operations, is confident Carrillo will continue to offer the same level of service customers in the Atlanta area have come to expect from Duncan Aviation.
“The team in Atlanta built something special from the ground up over the last 13 years,” says Nelson. “Given Erwin’s experience and enthusiasm, I know our customers are in excellent hands.”
