LINCOLN, NEB. — Duncan Aviation recently completed a redesign of the Android version of its popular AOG Services app, which makes it easy for Aircraft on Ground (AOG) operators to find the nearest Duncan Aviation location to their current position. The app also offers 24/7 phone numbers and technical representative contact information. In addition, it now allows users to keep a diary of performance issues for each aircraft in their fleet, submit an immediate troubleshooting request including digital photos or videos of the squawk, or place an immediate call for assistance.
"The focus of this app is to provide operators with immediate access to an expert who can help them solve their AOG issue, whether it is an engine, avionics or parts issue,” says Chad Doehring, Manager of Airframe Services with Duncan Aviation’s Lincoln, Nebraska, location. “Our app makes it easy to get the right person on the phone and obtain a quick response. It really helps operators get the answers they need when they’re AOG."
The new AOG app is available for download at Google Play now. The iOS™ version for Apple phones was updated last November and is available for download at the iTunes store.
Duncan Aviation has also released mobile-friendly versions of its myDuncan aircraft project management website and its parts search website. Both myDuncan and the parts search websites are compatible with tablets and mobile phones, and may be bookmarked on Apple and Android™ devices.
myDuncan streamlines the item approval process and communication for aircraft projects with photo attachments, job status reports, item histories, and projected expenses. It also enables off-site decision-makers to view approved sections of the project during prebuy evaluations. The website is available at www.myDuncan.aero.
A mobile-friendly version of Duncan Aviation’s parts search website makes it more compatible with tablets and mobile phones, extending the ability to search Duncan Aviation’s parts, accessories, avionics and instruments inventory and capabilities. With one touch, customers can enter all or part of a part number, with or without dashes, and find out if Duncan Aviation has the capability to repair/test or overhaul the item. The customer is also able to dial Duncan Aviation directly with one touch or send a quick email. It may be bookmarked on Apple and Android™ devices. The website is available at www.DuncanAviation.aero/parts/search.
