Duncan Aviation hosted more than 90 Utah County leaders, elected officials, and community members at its full-service facility in Provo, Utah, on Monday, March 10, for an exclusive look at the ALIA CX300 aircraft as BETA Technologies and 47G conducted Utah’s first air taxi demonstrations. These flights demonstrated how this innovative mobility solution can significantly reduce travel times for commuters, provide more options for business travelers, and enhance the experience for tourists.

Clarification Regarding Cockpit Voice Recorder Image Shared by Several News Outlets

Duncan Aviation and our team members express sincere sympathy to the families and loved ones of the victims of the tragic aircraft accident that occurred the evening of Jan. 31, 2025, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, given the visual nature of media sources and the fast pace involved with news reporting, an image of a cockpit voice recorder (CVR), a.k.a. the “black box”, with a Duncan Aviation repair tag has been shown by several news sources in video reports of this incident. That image does not portray the actual CVR that was installed in the aircraft involved in the accident. According to our records, Duncan Aviation has not provided maintenance or repair services to that aircraft or its operator.

Duncan Aviation Names Kelly Werth As New Customer Service Manager In Provo

Duncan Aviation is pleased to announce that long-time member of Duncan Aviation’s Paint teams, Kelly Werth, will be heading the Customer Service department at the company’s full-service facility in Provo, Utah. Joining the Paint team in Lincoln, Nebraska, in 2005, while going to school for an Associate’s degree in Auto Collision, Werth has taken on increasingly more responsibility and greater leadership roles at the company, leading up to his most recent position as manager of the Paint department in Provo.

Duncan Aviation Announces Senior Leadership Changes

Duncan Aviation’s CEO Jeff Lake recently announced changes to the company’s senior leadership as Duncan Aviation looks to the future and prepares for upcoming retirements. Effective January 1, Lake, who was previously CEO and President, transferred the President title to Mike Minchow, formerly Chief Operating Officer of the company’s Lincoln, Nebraska, MRO facility. Lake is retaining the CEO position. Kasey Harwick, former Vice President of Quality-Lincoln, was then promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Lincoln facility.

Duncan Aviation Named Employer Of The Year By Nebraska and National VFW

The Nebraska Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) recently recognized Duncan Aviation as the 2024 VFW Employer Of The Year, an award that recognizes and honors a company that has demonstrated exceptional commitment in hiring and retaining Veterans. The Nebraska VFW award recognized Duncan Aviation for actively recruiting, hiring, and offering continuing support for the Veterans in the company’s workforce. Roughly one in four Duncan Aviation team members are Veterans or active members of the military. Duncan Aviation also received the VFW National Employer of the Year award in July in Louisville, Kentucky.
