Since joining Duncan Aviation in 2024 as the Program Engineer assigned to Pratt & Whitney Engines, Alec Pusateri has played a key role in supporting the company’s Designated Overhaul Facility (DOF). With a strong background in data analysis and a lifelong passion for aviation, he is an integral part of Duncan Aviation’s operations that support Pratt &Whitney Canada engines. In this role, Pusateri ensures that engines consistently meet rigorous inspection parameters by performing meticulous data analysis and implementing necessary adjustments to optimize engine performance.

Duncan Aviation Technicians Complete Pratt & Whitney PW500 Factory Training, Begin First Overhaul

As part of Duncan Aviation’s Pratt & Whitney Canada DOF (Designated Overhaul Facility) authorization, eight Duncan Aviation engine technicians have successfully completed rigorous factory authorization training on the Pratt & Whitney PW500 series engine and have begun their first overhaul. This achievement marks a significant step forward as the company prepares for the opening of its new engine overhaul facility in Lincoln, Nebraska, in early 2026.
