Duncan Aviation Expands Burn Testing Lab

Construction on the new Flammability Lab at the Duncan Aviation full-service facility in Battle Creek, Michigan, will be completed next week. Duncan Aviation’s Engineering & Certification Services is not only expanding the size of its Burn Lab, it is also expanding its testing capabilities to include the NexGen or Sonic Burner test (also known as the FAR 25.853 (c) Fire-Blocking test).

Duncan Aviation Upgrades CMS With Honeywell Ovation Components & Alto Aviation Cadence Switches

Earlier this fall, the capable avionics technicians at Duncan Aviation’s full-service facility in Lincoln, Nebraska, upgraded the Cabin Management System (CMS) for a Challenger 605 with components from the Honeywell Ovation and Cadence switches from Alto Aviation. The owner of the aircraft, who was facing obsolescence issues with his current switches and CMS screens, worked with Duncan Aviation’s Avionics Sales Representative Scott Kruce to select the necessary components to upgrade the system.

The Interior is HOW Old? Gulfstream GIV Refurbished by Duncan Aviation Withstands Test of Time

Duncan Aviation completed a Gulfstream GIV in 2007 that was placed on static display at the National Business Aviation Association’s annual convention in Atlanta, Georgia. The aircraft had new paint as well as a fresh interior that showcased a multitude of industry firsts. A look at that aircraft today after 13 years of regular use, proves that its design was timeless and the interior installation and construction was of the highest quality.
