Duncan Aviation Expands Burn Testing Lab

Construction on the new Flammability Lab at the Duncan Aviation full-service facility in Battle Creek, Michigan, will be completed next week. Duncan Aviation’s Engineering & Certification Services is not only expanding the size of its Burn Lab, it is also expanding its testing capabilities to include the NexGen or Sonic Burner test (also known as the FAR 25.853 (c) Fire-Blocking test).

Duncan Aviation Receives Overall and North American Bombardier Authorized Service Center Awards

Judged on a set of criteria that included superior quality, performance, and effective customer support, Duncan Aviation’s Lincoln, Nebraska, facility was named the winner of both the Overall and the North American categories of the 10th Annual Bombardier Authorized Service Facility (ASF) Excellence Awards.

Duncan Aviation Upgrades CMS With Honeywell Ovation Components & Alto Aviation Cadence Switches

Earlier this fall, the capable avionics technicians at Duncan Aviation’s full-service facility in Lincoln, Nebraska, upgraded the Cabin Management System (CMS) for a Challenger 605 with components from the Honeywell Ovation and Cadence switches from Alto Aviation. The owner of the aircraft, who was facing obsolescence issues with his current switches and CMS screens, worked with Duncan Aviation’s Avionics Sales Representative Scott Kruce to select the necessary components to upgrade the system.

The Interior is HOW Old? Gulfstream GIV Refurbished by Duncan Aviation Withstands Test of Time

Duncan Aviation completed a Gulfstream GIV in 2007 that was placed on static display at the National Business Aviation Association’s annual convention in Atlanta, Georgia. The updated Design Center now has 30% more space, a more efficient work area, and an inviting environment for customers as they spec out designs for their aircraft paint and interior modifications.

Duncan Aviation’s Aircraft Disinfection Service Available Now at Several Satellite Shops

Along with business aircraft owners and operators, Duncan Aviation has made the safety of its customers and team members a top priority right now. Toward that end, the company implemented an aircraft disinfection service in March at the company’s three main MRO facilities in Battle Creek, Michigan; Lincoln, Nebraska; and Provo, Utah. Duncan Aviation is pleased to announce that the disinfection service is now available at five of the company’s Satellite Avionics Shops and will expand to additional shops throughout the Duncan Aviation Satellite Network in the coming weeks.
