Duncan Aviation has worked tirelessly to get the word out about the FAA’s looming deadline for its Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) mandate. By midnight on December 31, 2019, business aircraft that intend to fly in airspace in the United States will have to have ADS-B. Two additional Duncan Aviation satellite avionics shops recently received certification from Mexico’s Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil (DGAC), which is the civil aviation authority for Mexico. This will allow the Duncan Aviation shops in Van Nuys, California, and Scottsdale, Arizona, to expand their avionics services for customers with aircraft based in Mexico.
