Duncan Aviation Names New Director of Modifications in Battle Creek

Duncan Aviation is pleased to announce that Nate Darlington has accepted the position of Director of Modifications at the company’s full-service facility in Battle Creek, Michigan. Darlington will continue in his role as Manager of the Battle Creek Paint department, and he will also assume responsibility for the Avionics and Interior shops. In addition to his current and new responsibilities, Darlington was welcomed as a member of the Duncan Aviation Senior Management Team.

Duncan Aviation Expands In-House Battery Services

Duncan Aviation has more than doubled its aircraft battery shop space to nearly 1,400-square-feet at its Lincoln, Nebraska, location. The expansion includes the addition of a new battery cooler, twice as much bench space, and new advanced test sets, including 2400w programmable DC electronic load banks, lead acid analyzers, and main NiCad charger analyzers.

Duncan Aviation is pleased to announce that when the new paint complex in Provo, Utah, opens its hangar doors this spring, the paint team will be ready on day one with individual and team experience. Provo paint team members include more than a dozen experienced members of the paint teams from Duncan Aviation’s Lincoln, Nebraska, and Battle Creek, Michigan, facilities.

Duncan Aviation would like to wish Tom Burt, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the company’s full-service facility in Battle Creek, Michigan, congratulations as he plans to retire from day-to-day operations on March 8. After spending his 40-year career at the company, Burt welcomes the slower pace retirement promises, and he intends to remain active at Duncan Aviation, teaching leadership and business classes for the foreseeable future.
